Privacy Policy

Account: your email address, display name, and (with Google sign-in) your avatar picture. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase — we never see or store your password.

Plan & usage: your subscription plan, its expiry date, and simple counters (renders this month, AI generations today). These exist only to apply your plan's limits.

Cloud versions: while you edit, a snapshot of your project (the scene JSON plus small preview images) is saved to your account every 10 minutes. Only the latest 20 versions are kept.

Payments: when you subscribe we store ONLY the last 4 digits of your card, your ID document number, the amount, and the request status. The full card number never leaves your browser — it is checked on your device and immediately discarded.

AI prompts: when you use the AI assistant, the text you type is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the scene. Prompts are not used to build a profile of you.

·Full card numbers — ever, anywhere.

·Passwords — sign-in is delegated to Firebase Authentication.

·Advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.

·Anything from your computer beyond what you create in the editor.

Interface language, the finished-tour flag, and your recently used shapes are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and disappear if you clear the browser data.

If you use the local render worker, your scenes are rendered on your own computer. The worker receives only the generated scene code for your own project and sends back the finished video — it does not read files, collect telemetry, or scan anything else on your machine.

To run the service: signing you in, saving your cloud versions, rendering your videos, applying your plan's limits, and processing subscription requests.

We do not sell your data, share it for marketing, or show ads. There is no exception to this.

·Google Firebase (authentication and database) — stores your account and project data.

·Google Gemini API — processes AI prompts you send from the AI panel.

·A payment provider will process card charges when live payments launch; until then payment requests are reviewed manually.

Each processor receives only what it needs for its task.

Account and plan data are kept while your account exists. Cloud versions are capped at the newest 20 — older ones delete themselves automatically.

Payment records are retained for accounting purposes.

You can request a copy of your data or full deletion of your account at any time by emailing us. Deletion removes your profile, cloud versions, and usage counters.

You may access, export, correct, or delete your personal data. Email us and we will respond within 72 hours.

You may stop cloud backups at any time by signing out of the editor — everything then stays only on your device.

Manim Studio is a general-audience educational tool. Accounts for children under 13 should be created and supervised by a parent, guardian, or teacher.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and note the change on the site before it takes effect.
