Use the command palette
Search and run any editor action with Ctrl+K.
Run almost any editor action without leaving the keyboard.
Open it
CtrlK opens a fuzzy-searchable list covering nearly every action in the editor: inserting any object type, undo/redo/duplicate/group/ungroup, align/distribute, toggling grid/snap/2D-3D view, zoom in/out, play/pause and jump-to-start, opening any sidebar panel (library, templates, layers, AI, code view, shortcuts, docs), saving the project, switching language, toggling record mode, and opening the Canvas studio.
Use it
- Type to filter — word-start matches rank above mid-word substring matches, and every word in your query must match somewhere.
- ↑/↓ to move the highlight, Enter to run the highlighted command.
- Esc to close.
It works even while a text field elsewhere in the editor is focused — opening the palette doesn't require clicking out of whatever you were typing in first.
